Year of 2022 - Very first post and hope more to come !

I was wandering around the neighborhood where i'm staying in Phnom Penh and came across a shop where it sells bread, tarts and cakes. So i was curious as you don't ponder to such a shop easily in Phnom Penh as most Cake Shops selling cakes, sell big cakes for events or celebrations and seldom have slices of cakes on display for consumers takeaway unless you go to Aeon Bakery at Aeon Shopping Mall or BreadTalk, other than that, it is hard to find a cafe or a rest area shop to have nice cakes.

Since the post-convid, Cambodia has opened up and people are basically back to normal life pre-convid times. You can see people stop wearing masks on the street, but i wouldn't recommend that, so i do still wear mask daily whenever i'm outside even just a few doors away to grab a coffee from cafe.

Ok, back to my story again, i came across this 'Bread Boutique' along st 456 Shop where it features 50% OFF all day/night on all bread and they do have a cake chiller and tarts and cakes on display. While cycling different streets, i came across this shop and decided to take a break and enjoy some nice tart. It was hot so i simply parked my bicycle infront of the shop. As i was browsing through the chiller on what are available, i saw some moulded cakes being wrapped and kept behind in the same chiller...

So cake is off the list and i went to order the chocolate tart... Guess what? She gave me the small croissant with cheese and ham which she heated up... it costs $1.80usd and yes... that small size could have been just 50cents on food catering but it costs 1.80usd... nevertheless i requested for the chocolate tart and simply just have the small croissant ham & cheese... Overall bill was 5usd plus and i asked no discount given the fact that i didn't order the croissant - 30% off on croissant ham&cheese while full price on chocolate tart... overall paid 4.20usd...

If you ask me, would i ever visit the place again? Answer is a 'No'. I tried to give review on GoogleMap, but couldn't and not sure why... Until next update which i shall share more of my food adventure and exciting things in Cambodia Phnom Penh :)
